12 Ring Events: Introducing WSOPC Tallinn 2024

Northern Europe’s biggest poker festival is just over two months away. The World Series of Poker Circuit Tallinn 2024 will take place at the prestigious Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Park Hotel from 19 July to 28 July. In total, there will be 53 events and 12 Ring Events. Here’s a preview of all the tournaments where you can compete for a shot at the prestigious WSOPC Ring.

Kicking off the series is Ring Event #1, the WSOPC €250 NLH, which offers an accessible entry point for just €250. With such an affordable buy-in, you can expect a lively field and a sizeable prize pool to be up for grabs. The first flights of the event will take place on the 19th and 20th of July, with the final day of play taking place on the 21st of July.

For those who thrive on variety, Ring Event #2, the WSOPC €350 8-Game, offers an exciting challenge with a mix of eight different poker disciplines. Last year’s winner, Antonios Onoufriou, walked away with €11,370 after defeating 78 competitors. This two-day event will take place from the 21st to the 22nd of July.

Ring Event #3, the WSOPC €555 NLH, promises three days of intense action and a crowd-pleasing atmosphere. With last year’s winner, Viacheslav Sultanov, taking home €34,535 from a prize pool of €183,360, anticipation is high for another thrilling showdown. Flights for this event will take place from the 21st of July to the 22nd of July. The final day will be played on the 24th of July.

Adding to the excitement is Ring Event #4, the WSOPC €350 PLO4&5 Progressive Bounty, a new addition to the schedule. Packed with action and fun, this event is sure to attract passionate PLO enthusiasts. The tournament takes place on the 24th of July. 

We care about our ever-growing female community, so we will host a first-ever ladies-only Ring Event #5, the WSOPC €250 NLH Queens, to welcome all our queens. Last year, we also created a Queens of Tallinn festival; this year, we take it even one step further, and we will give all the ladies an excellent chance to win a WSOPC Ring. The start of the tournament will be on the 22nd of July when the ladies will play their way to the final table with the final table being the following day.

The centrepiece of the series is the sixth Ring Event: the WSOPC €1,500 NLH Main Event, which has a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. Last year’s champion Ignacio Gonzalez took home €100,350 after a deal with 5 other players. The deal gave all 6 players at least €75,000 with Akseli Paalanen taking home €141,850. This prestigious tournament promises fame, fortune and fierce competition. Flights for the Main Event will start on the 23rd of July and run until the 25th of July. Day two will be held on the 26th of July, day three will be played the following day and the final will be played on the last day of the festival.

For fans of Pot-Limit Omaha, Ring Event #7, the WSOPC €1,100 PLO4&5, offers a tempting opportunity to showcase your skills in this popular variation. Last year’s winner, Jon Kyte, took home €34,780 after outlasting 142 opponents. The tournament will start on the 24th of July with players playing down to the final table and the final will be played the following day.

Ring Event #8, the WSOPC €1,100 NLH Mystery Bounty, introduces an element of unpredictability with mystery prizes awaiting top competitors. With an increased buy-in of €1,100, this tournament promises even more excitement and rewards. The event will take place from the 26th of July to the 27th of July. 

For high rollers, Ring Event #9, the WSOPC €3,000 NLH, features a substantial buy-in and an elite field of competitors vying for a share of an impressive prize pool. Last year we saw an amazing battle between Finn Roope Tarmi and local hero Markku Koplimaa. The Finn came out on top and won €78,280 after beating 96 competitors. The competition starts on 27th of July and the final will be held on the last day of the festival.

Another tournament spanning the final two days of the festival is for players looking for deep-stack action, with Ring Event #10, the WSOPC €350 NLH DeepStack, offering an exciting two-day tournament experience. Last year’s champion Kaur Ajamaa emerged victorious from a field of 383 players to take home €17,050 of the €115,819 prize pool after a three-way deal.

Online poker enthusiasts won’t be left out as Ring Event #11, the WSOPC €350 Online Ring Event, has a guaranteed prize pool of €50,000. Last year’s WSOPC Tallinn Online event became the biggest prize pool OlyBet-only online event ever with 149 entrants and this year we are expecting even bigger numbers! The top two finishers from last year, both Estonians, made a deal and both took home over €9,000. The winner was Toomas Orm. The start of the online tournament is the evening of the 27th of July.

Rounding out the series is Ring Event #12, the WSOPC €555 NLH Progressive Bounty, offering €100 bounties and intense one-day action. Last year’s champion, Albert Gorelik, secured victory and his fourth WSOP Circuit ring, signaling an exciting end to the series. The final Ring Event will take place on the final day of the tournament starting at 12:00.
