Finns dominate the Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition Team Challenge
The Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition once again featured the popular Team Challenge, which added an extra layer of excitement to the festival. Teams of four competed for a share of the special Team Challenge prize pool, which was funded by 2% of the overall festival prize pool. Players earned points for their teams through various live-ranking tournaments.
With a total Team Challenge prize pool of €45,012, the stakes were high. Team HIT&RUN rose to the top, collecting 218.85 points and securing a prize of €18,004.80. The Finnish players led the way, with Veikka Keto-Tokoi clinching the €150 Celebrity event alongside multiple top-10 finishes, Mikael Haapaniemi taking second place in the €150 NLH/PLO4/PLO5 Mix tournament, Joona Koivisto achieving second place in the €150 PLO 4&5&6 Progressive Bounty Hyper Turbo and fifth in the €350 NLH/PLO4/PLO5 Mix, and Jarmo Salonen winning the €150 Deepstack Progressive Bounty tournament.
TEAM SUKE! took second place and €11,253.00, trailing by over 30 points, while Team Pokerbrahs claimed third place with €6,751.80. The competition was fierce, with just a 1.55-point difference between second and fourth places. Fourth place went to Team Menn som hater Haverstad, earning €4,501.20.
