First WSOPC Ladies Trophy up for Grabs in the Queens of Tallinn
Players around the globe are gearing up for 11 days of exciting poker with the inaugural World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP) Tallinn just on our doorsteps on Sept. 14-24 at our luxurious home of Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park.
The 12 WSOPC Tallinn gold ring events, especially the €1,000,000 guaranteed WSOPC Tallinn €1,500 Main Event, are what most players have their eyes on. However, the 40 numbered side events and satellites perfectly complement the ring event schedule to provide something for everyone throughout the extended week.
Ladies are anticipating an exciting day of poker on Saturday, Sept. 23 with cards in the air for Event #49: €150 Queens of Tallinn at 5 p.m. The Queens of Tallinn is well-known for providing an entertaining combination of fun and competitive action. Players begin with a deep stack of 20,000 opening chips and blinds increasing every 20 minutes. Those who unfortunately lose their stacks can get right back into the mix during the eight-level late registration window.
If you are on the fence or even if you are a woman who wants to try poker for the first time, we have good news for you as you can potentially get your way into the Queens of Tallinn for free. Regardless, we promise that you can enjoy a free poker experience as five hours before the Queens of Tallinn begins, we are hosting a Queens of Tallinn Freezeout Satellite at 12 p.m. that is absolutely free to enter. The top five players in the satellites will punch their ticket into the Queens of Tallinn without paying a cent!
The Queens of Tallinn has been a popular fixture during the Kings of Tallinn throughout the years. Earlier this year, one of the biggest ladies-only events ever held in the Baltics in the 2023 €120 Queens of Tallinn at the Kings of Tallinn in March attracted 95 entries for a €9,120 prize pool. Estonia’s Ingrid Pall won the trophy and the €1,780 top prize but not before making a deal with two other local players Kirsti Kirs (second – €2,145) and Evely Pihela (third – €1,655).
Meanwhile, Pihela will be pulling for a podium trifecta during the Queens of Tallinn at the WSOPC Tallinn as she managed another third-place performance for €700 in the €150 Queens of Tallinn at the Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown in July. Austria’s Yvonne Steidel won the lion’s share of the €4,368 prize pool after finishing on top of the 35-entry field to win the €1,568 top prize. Lithuania’s Indre Martoviciute also banked a four-figure cash of €1,090 after falling one player shy of hoisting the trophy.
Time will tell who will make history by becoming the first lady to win the Queens of Tallinn trophy at the 2023 WSOPC Tallinn. There is still time to book your trip to join us for what promises to be an amazing festival.
