Get ready for the Kings of Vilnius from 15–24 November
The Lithuanian poker scene is gearing up for a landmark event this November as the Kings of Vilnius makes its grand debut at the Olympic Casino Lietuva, located in the prestigious Radisson Blu Lietuva Hotel. From the 15th to the 24th of November, the festival will feature over 30 events and a series of non-stop cash games that promise to provide an unforgettable experience for both local and international poker players.
Having hosted several successful international OlyBet festivals in recent years, the venue is no stranger to high stakes poker. However, Kings of Vilnius is set to take the spotlight as the biggest poker event in Lithuanian history, marking a new chapter in the country’s poker development.
The festival also represents OlyBet’s ambition to expand its popular Kings of brand, which has flourished for over a decade with the Kings of Tallinn. First launched in 2015 under the direction of tournament director Teresa Nousiainen, the series has grown year on year. Vilnius is the first destination outside of Tallinn for the brand, with plans already in place to extend its reach to other locations.
At the heart of the Kings of Vilnius Festival is the €1,100 Main Event, which runs from 21– 24 November and offers a €250,000 guaranteed prize pool – the largest guarantee ever seen in Lithuanian poker.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the Kings of Festival to Vilnius, a true milestone for our brand,” said Marijus Grigonis, Head of Poker Operations Baltic at Olympic Entertainment Group. “This festival will not only set new records for Lithuanian poker, but will also attract a diverse field of players. We look forward to seeing the community come together for what will undoubtedly be the biggest poker event Lithuania has ever seen.
Mixed games enthusiasts will also have plenty to celebrate as the festival will host a €250 Sviten Special on 22 November – a first for Olympic Casino Lietuva. Fans of HORSE and Omaha won’t be disappointed either, with a €150 HORSE championship on November 20 and several Pot-Limit Omaha events throughout the schedule.
The festival kicks off in style with the €555 Championship, a three-day tournament starting on the 15th of November. Other notable highlights include the two-day €2,000 High Roller event on 20–21 November and the €555 OlyBet Special Mystery Bounty, which concludes the festivities on 23–24 November.
True to its inclusive ethos, OlyBet continues to pioneer diversity within the poker community. The Queens of Tallinn festival made waves last year as the first all-female poker event. Building on this success, the Kings of Vilnius will host the €80 NLH Queens event on the 23rd of November, providing a dedicated space for women to compete while welcoming them to all open events.
For poker enthusiasts of all skill levels, the Kings of Vilnius is a must-attend festival. With satellite buy-ins starting at just €30, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of Lithuanian poker history when the Kings of Vilnius crowns its champions.
