Ignas Vaitulionis Leads Final Table of the Kings of Tallinn Main Event
Goodbyes are already being said to some as Sunday with the Kings of Tallinn coming to a close at Olympic Park Casino. Many events are being played out today including two new ones, the final day of the €660 Mystery Bounty, and, of course, the final tables of the €3,000 High Roller and the €1,100 Main Event.
Three Lithuanians & Three Finns at the Final Table
The time is near and the mission is clear as for the festival’s most prestigious event, the 2023 Kings of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event is down to a final table of nine hopefuls in the hunt for Kings of Tallinn glory and the whopping €140,100 top prize.
Lithuania’s Ignas Vaitulionis will kick off the final table as the table captain after crushing the competition late yesterday. Just behind Vaitulionis is Italy’s Davide Muccini (4,200,000) with a significant gap between this duo and the rest of the field.
The formidable Finn Aleksi Naski (2,435,000) and local Estonian Priit Parmasto (2,235,000) each have more than 2 million in chips with Lithuania’s Danius Antanaitis (1,840,000), Latvia’s Sergejs Korobovs (1,630,000), Finland’s Petteri Laiho (1,570,000) and Antti Vetelainen (1,180,000), and Lithuania’s Albert Ostrovskij (730,000) also have their hopes up for claiming the title.
The final nine have each locked up at least an €11,900 payout with tonight’s winner slated to be rewarded with a lavish €140,100 top prize!

Will Anatoly Filatov Find Kings of Tallinn Glory in the High Roller?
The €3,000 High Roller was another record-breaking epic event with 83 entries generating a whopping €218,456 prize pool.
The action is down to just seven players in the hunt for the €63,156 top prize with €9,100 already locked up.
All eyes are on GGPoker Ambassador and local Estonian resident Anatoly Filatov who will start the day near the chip lead with 1,130,000. Kimmo Fagerholm is just inches ahead of Filatov with 1,169,000.
Also in contention are 2020 Kings of Tallinn Main Event runner-up Ermo Kosk (851,000), Mikko Ylamaki (427,000), Ville Jantunen (270,000), Casper von Schantz (186,000), and Juho Suutari (141,000).
Two Podium Finishes for Espen Sandvik
WSOP bracelet winner Espen Sandvik had a day to remember at the Kings of Tallinn as he not only had one podium finish but managed a second one later in the day.
He first took third place in the €350 Open Face Chinese tournament for €4,635. This event attracted 41 entries to create a €12,140 prize pool. Finishing ahead of Sandvik were Henri Antikainen (first – €4,635) and Joni Haltia (second – €3,285). While Harald Redl (fourth – €1,320) and Teemu Hietela (fifth – €700) also cashed in this event. As if this wasn’t enough, Sandvik also managed a podium third-place finish in the €150 NLH Turbo on Saturday evening for another €2,150. Anton Askolin (first – €3,417) and Tadas Pranckevicius (second – €3,282) agreed to a heads-up deal before playing it out for the trophy. Full results can be found HERE.
Sandvik then went off to play table tennis in the OlyBet Lounge and was told that he might as well stop playing as there was no third-place prize in his heads-up battle.
