The Kings of Tallinn embarks on a new tradition this autumn as, for the first time, OlyBet Poker’s flagship home in Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park will be hosting the Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition from October 18-27, 2024.

Expect amazing poker action with 55 events on tap, highlighted by the Kings of Tallinn Autumn €1,100 Main Event boasting a mouth-watering €500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Team Competition is back, and so are the special events for the ladies in the run-up to the Queen of Tallinn festival near the end of the year. Of course, cash games featuring a variety of stakes and games will be running non-stop on the casino floor throughout the festival.

Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition Schedule Highlights

The Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition features events across various poker variants. However, the biggest prize pools will likely be generated from the schedule’s tons of no-limit hold’em events.

The €500,000 guaranteed Kings of Tallinn: Autumn Edition €1,100 Main Event boasts four opening flights from October 23-25 before players will compete for three more days of action on October 26-28 until a winner is crowned. Expect a massive crowd as a new gold standard was created during the 2024 Kings of Tallinn in the winter with 914 entries creating a record-breaking €859,160 prize pool. A three-way deal allowed three players to collect six-figure prizes with Lithuanian’s Mantas Tamulevicius and Finland’s Aleksi Naski each collecting €105,000 for their podium finishes. Meanwhile, former poker dealer Edgaras Kausinis made poker history by shipping this historic event for €120,910 and the coveted trophy.

The Main Event is just one of the no-limit hold’em highlights as there are plenty of other events with buy-ins low and high including the new €5,000 NLH Progressive Bounty.

Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition New Events

Kings of Tallinn founder and tournament director Teresa Nousiainen grew the festival from an idea about a decade ago into the largest poker festival in Northern Europe. While there are many reasons for the festival’s growth, one big one is that Nousiainen is always open to suggestions for new events or different ideas.

Nousiainen has helped make Olympic Park Casino the hub of mixed games throughout Europe, with every festival littered with mixed game events in varieties rarely played on the continent.

With this in mind, the Kings of Tallinn features a handful of new events on the schedule in a variety of different formats, including no-limit hold ’em, pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit seven card stud and seven card stud hi-lo mix, split pot-limit Soko (five-card stud), and a five-card mix. This is on top of the many other mixed games on the schedule.

Meanwhile, the €250 Sviten Special has always been popular in Tallinn. Overall, it was well-received, with the previously billed one-day event now taking place over two days to provide more play for the players.

We already mentioned the new €5,000 Progressive Bounty, and the €3,000 High Roller, a staple of the Kings of Tallinn, is also back on the schedule. But there is another new event for the high rollers in the two-day €2,000 Progressive Bounty. Check out all of the new events at the Kings of Tallinn below:

  • €150 PLO4/PLO5/PLO6 Progressive Bounty, €40 Progressive Bounties
  • €2,000 NLH Progressive Bounty, 2-Day Event, €800 Progressive Bounties

  • €5,000 NLH Progressive Bounty, 2-Day Event, €2,000 Progressive Bounties
  • €150 Five-card Mix, Sviten/PLO5/ 5-card Triple Draw, Pot Limit, High Only, Round of Each
  • €80 Satellite to Kings of Vilnius 2024, 2 x €555 SEATS GTD & 2 x €1,100 SEATS GTD

Team Competition Returns

One of the most fun aspects of the Kings of Tallinn is its Team Competition. This makes every event count and leads to rails, even in the smaller events, with teammates rooting each other on in hopes of earning valuable leaderboard points for the team.

The Team Competition prize pool will become massive as it is funded by two percent of all eligible tournament buy-ins. Players form teams of four. Don’t stress if you are coming alone or don’t know too many people to create a team, as Nousiainen and her dedicated staff will help place you on a team. In many cases, these random team formations have led to life-long friendships.

Players can head to OlyBetEvents.com to create their teams well in advance. However, the true deadline to establish a team is October 25 at 4:15 p.m. We recommend establishing as early as possible, as points will only be recorded for a team after it is officially created, with the exception of the Main Event.

The team competition will pay out five teams, with the winning team earning 40 percent of the prize pool and being free to enter.

The inaugural Kings of Tallinn 2024: Autumn Edition will be a blast with nonstop poker action on October 18-27. Check out everything you need to know about the festival at OlyBetEvents, and see you in the autumn at Olympic Park Casino.
