Team Challenge returns to Queens of Tallinn 2024

Europe’s premier ladies-only poker festival the Queens of Tallinn, will run from the 27^th of November to the 1^st of December. Hosted at the iconic Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park, the festival features 11 thrilling tournaments and non-stop cash games. Among its standout features is the highly anticipated Team Challenge. 

The Queens of Tallinn Team Challenge operates in the same beloved format as its counterpart from the Kings of Tallinn festival. Free to enter, with 2% of the prize pools from all eligible events contributing to a dedicated Team Challenge prize pool. 

How to Enter the Team Challenge 

1. Gather a team of three players and pick your team’s name. 
2. Register your team using this link.
3. Earn points for your team by participating in ranking events and additional points for finishing in the money. 

Key Deadlines 

• Team registration closes: Friday, 29 November, at 20:00. 
• Teams must register before the start of any event to earn points, with the exception of the Queens of Tallinn Main Event, for which registration remains open until the above deadline. 
• All team members must participate in at least one ranking event to qualify. 

Team Challenge Payout Structure 

The Team Challenge prize pool will be divided among the top teams: 

• 1st place team: 60% of the prize pool 
• 2nd place team: 40% of the prize pool 
• 3rd place team: Personal tickets to the Kings of Tallinn Ladies Event (February 2025), worth €150 each (non-transferable). 

Earning Points 

Players earn one point for entering each eligible event and additional points based on cash finishes. Here’s an example of how points are calculated: 

• Buy-in: €315 + €35 
• Unique entries: 210 
• Re-entries: 80 
• Total prize pool: 290 x €315 = €91,350. Divide €91,350 by 210 for a factor of €435. 
• If the winner earned €18,270, you would divide this by €435, resulting in 42 points. Add 1 participation point for a total of 43 points. 

Re-entries do not generate additional points, and deal-making impacts rankings, with points awarded based on the lowest announced payout in any deal. 

The winning team will be crowned after the final ranking tournament concludes on Sunday, 1^st of December.
