Baltic Road Trip to WSOP Circuit Tallinn Embarks July 13-18

Poker Jason Glazer 10.07.2024

The second edition of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Tallinn kicks off the 2024/2025 WSOPC season in style from July 19-28 at Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park. There are 53 numbered events, including 12 events where players have the opportunity to enter poker immortality with a WSOP Circuit gold ring on the line, including the €1 million guaranteed WSOP Circuit Tallinn €1,500 Main Event.

While you should visit our WSOP Circuit Tallinn landing page at OlyBetEvents.com for more information about the schedule, accommodations, a player’s guide, and more, you may also want to consider tagging along as a warm-up while touring the Baltics as PokerPro.cc has teamed up with Globetrotting Poker and Main Event Travel for a fun pre-event tour of the Baltics. Read on to learn more.

“I have worked alongside OlyBet and the Olympic Entertainment Group for nearly a decade as a reporter, commentator, and advisor,” shared Glatzer. “I couldn’t be any more excited about trying something new and exciting. Maureen and I will play every event on the tour while running some fun prop bets on the side. What a perfect way to break in the WSOP Circuit before the action gets even hotter with a dozen WSOP Circuit gold rings on the line in Tallinn.”

Enjoy the Beauty of the Baltics Inside and Out

The three Baltic countries, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, are a treasure trove of natural beauty, with their picturesque landscapes and vibrant city life. This is especially true during the summer, when the sun never appears to go down for very long.

Jason Glatzer at PokerPro, Maureen Bloechlinger from Globetrotting Poker, and Matthew Summers from Main Event Travel have come together to create a curated experience that showcases the best of the Baltics.

The trio and others will document their travels on various social media and websites in hopes of raising awareness of not only the beauty of these countries but also the amazing poker available throughout the Baltics throughout the year.

The trip begins at this author’s home in Vilnius for two amazing events at Lithuania’s flagship casino, Olympic Casino Vilnius. The trio will not only do a city tour and other fun activities during the day but at night, play the €170 PokerPro Baltic Road Trip to WSOP Circuit Tallinn PKO on July 13, followed by the €100 PokerPro Baltic Road Trip to WSOP Circuit Tallinn No-Limit Hold’em event on July 14.

The traveling van will stay a couple of more days in Lithuania. Although the crew will not be visiting the cozy and luxurious casino in Kaunas, we will head straight on a three-hour trek to the port city of Klaipeda. Here, the roadies will not only enjoy the Baltic seaside but also battle in the Klaipeda Summer Rock Poker Session at Olympic Casino Amberton in hopes of a trophy and, in Maureen’s case, a coveted The Hendon Mob flag as well. While the players won’t be able to stay for the action-packed Main Event, they will instead enjoy two other fun events in the €225 Deep Stack on July 15, followed by the €170 Win the Button KO the following day on July 16.

The van finally crosses the border on July 17, when the crew will visit the Latvian seaside on the way to the country’s capital of Riga for two more days of poker at Olympic Casino Voodoo. The action switches up as well from hold’em as the first event on July 17 features more than two cards in the €100 PLO 4/5 Cards PKO. The final event of the tour kicks off on July 18 where players will enjoy the €100 NLHE.

The crew will make it in time for the WSOP Circuit Tallinn on July 19, where Maureen will play and Jason will run the reporting team. Matthew will provide good karma to both of us while we enjoy the delights of the Estonian capital during the perfect time of the year.
