Novik & Ramaska Wins Final OlyBet Vilnius Showdown Jacks of June Trophies
Sunday brought a bitter-sweet end to the inaugural OlyBet Vilnius Showdown Jacks of June. Some of the drama and suspense were already gone as the trophies for the two most prestigious events stayed home as Ovidijus Berenis won the €555 Main Event trophy for €34,950 on Friday evening before Vytautas Semaska shipped the €1,100 High Roller on Saturday evening for €22,470.
On Sunday, the stakes were high as players vied for the remaining two trophies. Vilnius resident Yauheni Novik put his mark on the festival by winning his first international live poker tournament, as reported by The Hendon Mob. He emerged victorious in the two-day €350 NLH OlyBet Special. Meanwhile, Lithuania’s Kazimieras Ramaska clinched the final trophy in the €250 NLH Wrap-Up.
As the OlyBet Vilnius Showdown Jacks of June concluded, many players were already setting their sights on the next big event. The World Series of Poker Circuit Tallinn is set to return to the Olympic Park Casino from July 19-28, 2024. This highly anticipated event promises gold rings and huge prizes, with France’s Jimmy Dewerdt and Lithuania’s Liutauras Armanavicius already securing their spots into the crown jewel of the festival, the €1 million guaranteed €1,500 Main Event, via a satellite earlier this festival.

Yauheni Novik Wins Largest Prize on Sunday
The €350 NLH OlyBet Special attracted 66 entries, including two before the start of the final day, to create a €19,958 prize pool.
Arturas Dauksevic led the way entering the final day and managed to parlay this into a fourth-place performance for €2,160 after fellow Lithuanian’s Arunas Justeikas (fifth – €1,440), Sigitas Raila (sixth – €1,160), Raimondas Zilenas (seventh – €920), and Jonas Vaitkunas (eighth – €780) all hit the rail in the money.
Zilenas managed back-to-back final table cashes after also finishing in fourth place in the €1,100 High Roller covered on our dedicated OlyBet.tv live blog for €8,390.
The trophy was guaranteed to stay on home soil after Estonia’s Virgo Laansoo bowed out in third place for €3,050 leaving Lithuanian’s Vladimiras Meckovskis and Vilnius resident Yauheni Novik battling it out for the largest prize of the day.
Novik came out on top to win the €6,318 top prize, while Meckoviskis secured the second-largest cash of the day, banking €4,130.

Kazimieras Ramaska Wins Final Jacks of June Trophy
While the sun was shining in Vilnius in what was a glorious day for nature and outdoor lovers, many poker players opted to battle for the final chance at Jacks of June glory inside at Olympic Casino Vilnius. Event #30: €250 Wrap-Up Progressive Knockout attracted 71 entries to create a €15,280 prize pool including €7,100 in progressive bounties.
Raimondas Zilenas did it once again, as he cashed at yet another final table making it three final tables in under 24 hours. However, he was the first player on the rail in this event in eighth place.
The final trophy was guaranteed to stay in Lithuania after Norway’s Jo Arnt Farbu exited in seventh place. Kazimieras Ramaska and Jonas Lapinskas each locked up at least €1,990 from the prize pool after Lukas Drobnys, Edgaras Knyzas, Zanas Legkauskas, and Vitalijus Kuzmicius hit the rail one by one at the final table.
Ramaska won the trophy and the two big progressive bounties after defeating Lapinskas to put a glorious end to the 2024 OlyBet Vilnius Showdown Jacks of June at Olympic Casino Vilnius.
